At least 2 years of assembly, supervisory, or management experience in wire harness or cable assembly manufacturing operations is required.
Working knowledge of Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook, is required.
In-depth understanding of process equipment output and techniques related to wire harness and cable assembly manufacturing is required.
Ability to communicate with assigned engineering departments to develop and prove time standards for cable and wire harness assembly operations is required.
Strong negotiation and communication skills with external suppliers are required.
Ability to organize and precisely document and store material-cost and time-estimate data is required.
In-depth understanding of assembly techniques associated with cable and wire harness assembly is required.

V-Tron Electronics Corporation is looking for a Cost Estimator to join our team in our Attleboro location. The Cost Estimator is a key member of the Quoting department who will establish standard routings and costed parts list associated with customer provided documentation.This is an on-site position. Applicants must be able to commute to the work location daily. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Pay Range: $20-$32 Per Hour
Responsibilities: Establish material costs to prescribe customer parameters by soliciting bids from suppliers. Build standard parts list in V-Tron Electronics parts list database. Documents costs in parts master database. Develop standard routings by identifying required operations on customer blueprints in the most efficient way possible.
Experience Requirements:
High School graduate or GED equivalent.
Minimum 2-years assembly, supervisory or management experience in manufacture of wire harnesses/cable assembly operations.

Skills Required:
