About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a STEM-related field is required.
- At least 2 years of experience with web design and front-end development is required.
- Proven experience using HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript, and JavaScript is required.
- Experience with front-end development libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue is required.
- Experience building high-availability and high-scalability solutions is required.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- An active Top Secret clearance, or a clearance current within two years of active status, with Sensitive Compartmented Information eligibility is required.
- Design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Build and enhance continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to improve deployment speed and reliability.
- Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Maintain production systems and resolve issues as required.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, GIS, or a STEM-related field is preferred.
- Esri certification is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is preferred.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools is preferred.
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and secure development pipelines is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments is preferred.
