Requirements
  • M.S. or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years in applied machine learning with large-scale datasets
  • Strong Python + PyTorch
  • Experience shipping perception or machine learning systems into production
  • Systems thinker: understands data, models, infrastructure as one system
Responsibilities
  • Re-use, adapt and extend existing perception algorithms (such as those commonly used in autonomous vehicle applications) to be applied to Teleo's operational domain and develop novel multi-modal perception algorithms
  • (Re-)Train models as Teleo's operational domain evolves
  • Develop auto-annotation and auto-labeling tools using state-of-the-art methods, such as visual-language models
  • Define evaluation protocols that correlate with on-ground performance
  • Drive active learning: select the right data
  • Integrate tightly with MLOps for continuous deployment

Teleo Raises $16.2M in Series A

Teleo has raised $16.2 million in Series A extension funds, led by UP.Partners, to scale customer deployments of its autonomous heavy equipment and expand into new industries. The funds will also enhance AI capabilities, including integrating large language models and collecting real-world data. The first extension round of $9.2 million included new investor Trousdale Ventures, while the second round of $7 million included new investor Triatomic Capital. Since 2019, Teleo has raised $29.8 million.
