Requirements
  • A valid Class A commercial driver's license is required.
  • A Tanker (N) endorsement is required.
  • A Hazmat (H) endorsement is preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire; assistance is available.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is preferred or must be obtained after hire.
  • At least one year of verifiable tanker-driving experience is required.
  • Candidates must be at least 23 years old.
  • Candidates must have a clean motor vehicle record and a strong safety record.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical, drug screening, and background check.
  • Candidates must be dependable, safety-minded, and capable of working independently.
  • Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedules, including 24/7 operations when needed.
Responsibilities
  • Safely transport chemical and petroleum products using tank trailers while adhering to Department of Transportation regulations.
  • Ensure the truck meets inspection standards and remains in proper condition for long-haul operations.
  • Follow proper loading and unloading procedures for ISO, flexi-bag, and tanker operations at loading and delivery points.
  • Maintain accurate logs, submit required paperwork, and adhere to hazardous-materials regulations.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer locations.
  • Manage fuel purchases, trip planning, and scheduling to maximize revenue.
  • Maintain a steady workload by meeting mileage or hour requirements.
  • Remain available 24/7 when needed.
  • Operate as a business owner and critical operational partner.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Hazmat (H) endorsement, to be obtained within 90 days of hire if not already held.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card.
