Responsibilities
  • Deploy the site's HSE policy, ensure the HSE management system, and contribute to preventing accidents and incidents.
  • Develop the site's Health, Safety, Security, and Environment/Energy culture and support teams on these topics.
  • Serve as the HSE reference and lead the HSE culture with managers, teams, and field representatives through safety STOP initiatives, vigilance forms, lessons learned, and reporting.
  • Consolidate key indicators covering accidents, severity, near misses, waste, actions, and audits, and raise alerts when deviations occur.
  • Lead accident and near-miss investigations, identify root causes, and define corrective actions through CAPA.
  • Conduct and update occupational-risk assessments, including DUERP and workstation analyses.
  • Identify hazards, define preventive measures, and lead risk-reduction efforts.
  • Ensure control of risks associated with external contractors' interventions, including prevention plans and work permits.
  • Conduct HSE regulatory monitoring and lead site compliance with the Labour Code, ICPE requirements, and periodic inspections.
  • Act as the contact for inspection bodies and supervise the resolution of nonconformities.
  • Deploy, maintain, and improve the ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems and prepare certification audits.
  • Participate in industrial projects to integrate prevention from the design stage.
  • Act as the technical reference for selected HSE topics, including accident analysis, waste management, ICPE, ATEX, chemical risk, ergonomics, and machine safety.

Nemera expands production capacity in Ponts-et-Marais, France. Published: 17/09/2026 Nemera today inaugurated a new production facility in Ponts-et-Marais, France. Hall 3 will expand the production capacity of Nemera's Ponts-et-Marais and Le Tréport sites, support growing customer demand, and create up to 100 employees in the coming years. Hall 3 will house the production equipment for the SP9 pump, along with other strategic manufacturing assets, enabling the consolidation of SP2 pump production at the Le Tréport site. This organization will further strengthen the complementarity between the two facilities while supporting their long-term development. Covering a total surface area of 7,200 sqm, the new facility includes a 2,600 sqm ISO Class 8 cleanroom as well as dedicated logistics and technical areas. Equipped with state-of-the-art injection molding machines and high-speed assembly lines, Hall 3 will significantly increase Nemera's manufacturing capacity. Ultimately, the Le Tréport and Ponts-et-Marais sites combined will be able to produce up to 120 million additional devices annually to meet growing market demand. Built on a 46,000 sqm site, the facility also benefits from available land reserves to support future phases of Nemera's industrial expansion. Nemera launches bi-dose nasal spray solution. 3 September 2026 Drug delivery device company Nemera has announced its DuoSpray bi-dose nasal spray platform, a 'non-invasive, needle free' administration alternative for systemic nasal therapies. The company adds that the platform is designed to offer 'rapid onset of action' and enable patients to self-administer without intervention from healthcare professionals. DuoSpray delivers two metered doses within a single device for acute therapies. The new solution compliments the company's commercially available UniSpray platform, which is most suitable for lifesaving and crisis applications. When combined, Nemera says the two solutions provide a platform for systemic intramucosal nasal administration, with various formats depending on the intended use, drug posology and product-specific development strategy. According to Nemera, DuoSpray's robust design makes it compatible with industry-standard primary containers and conventional filling lines, seeking to de-risk industrialization and help accelerate development timelines. The solution can deliver 200 μL of liquid formulation through two metered doses of 100μL with an integrated visual dose indicator. It also features a broad labelling surface and can be customized depending on product-specific needs. This major 5,000 sqm extension, 4,500 sqm of which will be dedicated to manufacturing, marks an important milestone in the Group's growth ambitions. Expanding capacity to support Nemera's growth Construction work will take place throughout 2026, with production scheduled to start in the second half of 2027. This project is fully aligned with Nemera's industrial roadmap, which aims to double the size of the La Verpillière site by 2030, confirming its strategic role in the Group's global development. The expansion responds to rapidly growing global demand, in particular for injection pens used in the treatment of diabetes and obesity, two major public health challenges. It will sustainably increase production capacity to better support customers and meet patients' needs. A project serving the local community At full capacity by 2028, the new production hall will create 150 additional jobs, strengthening a workforce that already exceeds 600 employees at La Verpillière.
