Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or another relevant technical discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience building scalable, secure analytics infrastructure and tools on a cloud platform, preferably Amazon Web Services, to produce monitoring metrics and investigational data from complex data models and queries for live products and customers.
  • Proficiency in Python and Structured Query Language.
  • Deep knowledge of modern data and analytics technologies, including cloud-based data warehouses, transformation frameworks such as dbt, workflow orchestration tools, and business intelligence tools such as Tableau or QuickSight, with the ability to integrate them with existing infrastructure.
  • Experience working with sensitive data containing protected health information and personally identifiable information.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional data science, product, and clinical teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with client success and clinical product subject matter experts to implement the infrastructure, queries, and automation needed to monitor product key performance indicators and success metrics across multiple clinical domains and clients.
  • Build frameworks and tools that enable the clinical team to independently review and investigate clinical cases reported by clients and identify cases meeting criteria for further evaluation.
  • Propose and implement foundational improvements and innovations to improve data platform scalability as products and clients expand and enhance team analytics capabilities.
  • Work closely with Client Success, Clinical, Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to align product analytics at the company level.

Bayesian Health secures first-ever FDA clearance for continuous AI sepsis monitoring

Bayesian Health has received FDA 510(k) clearance for its sepsis flagging device, marking the first continuous AI sepsis monitor to achieve regulatory approval. The clearance builds on the company's prior FDA Breakthrough Device Designation. The platform continuously monitors hospitalised patients and detects sepsis before clinical suspicion arises.
