Requirements
  • Pass the company’s appropriate security clearances.
  • Have a college degree (Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts) or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Have five years of experience supervising at least 15 associates.
  • Have three years of hotel management experience, including managing budgets.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have prior experience working in a Hilton or Marriott family hotel, preferred.
  • Have thorough knowledge of government regulations applicable to the hotel industry.
  • Have knowledge of hotel industry safety standards.
  • Have practical knowledge of accounting processes, including receivables, payables, budgets, invoices, and payroll.
  • Have effective written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations.
  • Have proficient written and verbal English.
  • Have financial analysis skills to assess potential business opportunities and their contribution to business success.
  • Have project management skills, including organizing and multitasking.
  • Have creative and strategic skills.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Have leadership skills to develop and counsel subordinate associates.
  • Be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted.
  • Be able to stand for eight hours and bend, stretch, and reach.
  • Be able to work effectively in a stressful atmosphere.
  • Be able to work any day or shift, including weekends.
  • Maintain certification from a brand-approved responsible vendor training program.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all pre-opening brand requirements and build the opening team for the property's late-2026 opening.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food and Beverage.
  • Ensure the hotel operates within ownership budget guidelines and brand quality guidelines.
  • Coordinate with corporate recruiting to ensure proper hotel staffing levels.
  • Manage personnel, budget performance, and financial controls.
  • Resolve guest concerns escalated from Guest Service personnel.
  • Ensure hotel staff greet guests properly, adhere to uniform standards, and resolve guest complaints appropriately.
  • Manage new-hire processes for each department and ensure newly hired associates complete required paperwork and orientation.
  • Review ongoing training practices to keep associates current on policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, cohesive team by hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and developing associates.
  • Promote positive morale and a friendly attitude.
  • Monitor interdepartmental communication and ensure timely, accurate information flow.
  • Develop and execute long- and short-term financial objectives and exceed budgeted sales and expense goals.
  • Review cost accounts weekly.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained according to service standards and outages are reported and resolved promptly.
  • Complete scheduling, payroll, inventory, ordering, and production-control duties in a timely manner.
  • Ensure hotel staff follow company rules and policies and oversee implementation of new rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain business and charitable involvement in the community.
  • Inspect guest rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness, safety, and appearance.
  • Perform other assigned duties the associate is capable of performing.

  • A college degree, specifically a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts, or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience working in a Hilton or Marriott family hotel.
