Banquet Attendant

Responsibilities:

- Clear, clean, and set up banquet areas before, during, and after events to ensure a seamless experience for guests.

- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet spaces, including tables, chairs, and service stations.

- Assist with event setup and breakdown, ensuring all details meet quality standards.

- Approach all guest and employee interactions with friendliness and a service-oriented attitude.

- Follow safety and sanitation standards to uphold hygiene and cleanliness.

- Handle basic guest inquiries and issues, escalating more complex concerns to supervisory staff.

Requirements

- High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related hospitality field preferred.

- Ability to get Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).

- Ability to perform work under direct supervision and handle basic issues independently.

- Strong organizational skills and clerical abilities.

- Excellent oral communication skills and a customer/client-oriented mindset.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

- Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends.
