  • Sales experience working with fiber-based packaging, including paperboard, corrugated, and laminated fiber/film substrates, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Support the field sales organization in growing and closing profitable sales of corrugated packaging solutions.
  • Provide field sales representatives with expertise on increasing sales with new and existing customers through custom corrugated designs, cost savings, and packaging-process improvements.
  • Drive profitability, sales and margin growth, and cost reduction for the corrugated packaging business in alignment with group strategy.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals explaining how the company’s products can meet customer needs and integrate with customer systems and equipment.
  • Support the unit sales plan through pre-sales and/or post-sales technical consulting activities.
  • Understand customers’ businesses and determine their system and product needs.
  • Visit and survey major customer and prospect facilities.
  • Develop cost-reduction alternatives to current customer practices and help present new concepts and alternatives to customers.
  • Maintain the corrugated and folding-carton sales pipeline with an appropriate dollar value of opportunities to achieve assigned-territory sales-growth objectives.
  • Develop new business in the assigned geography by targeting key accounts in collaboration with sales managers and field sales representatives.
  • Increase profitable corporate sales in collaboration with Design Centers, Sales Managers, Sales Representatives, Sourcing, Logistics/Operations Managers, and other Sales Specialists.

Veritiv Operating Company has launched TempSafe RxShield, a compact cold chain packaging solution for specialty pharmacies distributing GLP-1 therapies. The product maintains refrigerated temperatures for up to 36 hours and is validated to ISTA 7E thermal performance standards. The launch addresses growing demand in the GLP-1 market, projected to reach nearly $190 billion by 2035. Adult GLP-1 use has tripled from 3% in 2024 to 11% in 2026, whilst over 60% of specialty pharmacy prescriptions are now delivered by post. The packaging holds up to four 10ml vials, weighs approximately 240 grams, and uses a compact design to reduce shipping costs and optimise warehouse storage. It features custom phase change material for temperature stability and a reusable canister. The solution is commercially available through Veritiv's cold chain network.

Veritiv acquires Quick Pak and Stickel Packaging Supply to expand US presence

Veritiv Operating Company has acquired Quick Pak, Inc. and Stickel Packaging Supply, expanding its packaging capabilities in Central Florida and the Northeast. Financial terms were not disclosed. Quick Pak, founded in 1999 and based in Tampa, Florida, distributes films, packaging equipment, tapes and strapping to customers in distribution, food and beverage, and manufacturing sectors. Stickel Packaging Supply, founded in 1987 and operating from Lakewood, New Jersey, distributes corrugated packaging, tape, equipment and stretch film solutions across New Jersey, greater Philadelphia and Northern Delaware.
