Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or SPHR) preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years' strategic HR-related experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing organizational change initiatives in the non-profit industry preferred
  • Experience leading organizational inclusion and equity strategy initiatives
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Experience in multiple HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, diversity, equity, and inclusion, performance management, leadership development, employee engagement, compensation, and benefits
  • Knowledge of employment and labor-related laws and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
  • Leadership, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive human capital strategies
  • Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implement HR policies, processes, training, and initiatives
  • Oversee and monitor comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and practices
  • Create a diverse, respectful, welcoming, and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with the President and Executive Team
  • Advance racial equity within the organization
  • Support victims of domestic violence
  • Empower survivors to build new lives
