- Have a personal relationship with Jesus and demonstrate ongoing spiritual growth through everyday habits and practices.
- Support LCBC’s mission, ministry philosophy, priorities, and beliefs.
- Be an LCBC Partner or be willing to become one within 60 days of employment, and regularly attend and participate at LCBC prior to and/or upon employment.
- Confidently and capably lead, develop, empower, and resource volunteers.
- Have organizational management skills and lead with excellence.
- Communicate strongly, listen well, and inspire others into action.
- Own and execute all kidMinistry programs, operational systems, processes, and guidelines.
- Implement kidMinistry at LCBC West Shore.
- Advance the ministry by continually sharing its vision and beliefs.
- Uphold kidMinistry’s values: Engaging Kids, Empowering Parents, and Equipping Leaders.
- Drive growth in kidMinistry attendance for both kids and volunteers compared with the previous year.
- Monitor weekly to maintain a volunteer-to-kid attendance ratio above 60%.
- Maintain a visible presence connecting with families on weekends.
- Develop new leaders by embodying, utilizing, and executing a Lead Small Culture.
- Identify and develop volunteer(s) to serve as primary replacement leader(s) for the position.
- Empower and release kidMinistry leaders, delegating to others to be the Church.
- Support the LCBC Team in developing the local church community.
- Meet regularly with the West Shore Campus Pastor for planning, goal setting, progress updates, and general coaching; complete and review a formal Action and Development Plan three times throughout the year.
