  • 5-7 years of product management experience or equivalent and a history of building excellent consumer apps operating at mass scale, ideally on desktop platforms.
  • A passion for games and other consumer applications, especially on desktop platforms.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a related field like computer science or human computer interaction.
  • Experience owning and driving roadmaps for teams that span multiple features.
Responsibilities
  • Drive the roadmap for the Roblox player experience on desktop (Windows, Mac), including the desktop web user experience. Identify, define, prioritize, and craft the features to optimize a delightful experience of Roblox players around the world.
  • Innovate, innovate, innovate. We want to make Roblox better than anything else out there.
  • Write product requirements and specifications to communicate those initiatives and unblock the team to relentlessly implement.
  • Work very closely with product managers for other platforms (mobile, console, etc.) to ensure a truly authentic and intuitive Roblox experience across all devices.
  • Also, collaborate with teammates of all teams including engineering, design, data analytics, marketing, etc. You are the glue that holds it all together.
  • Present and debate wide-ranging and difficult decisions with our highly engaged and visionary leadership. This requires balancing the needs of internal collaborators, business goals, third-party game developers, and Roblox players with the long-term vision of Roblox.
  • Monitor analytics, critical metrics, A/B testing results, competitive intelligence, customer behavior, etc. to help make the right business decisions.
  • Work with third-party partners, like hardware vendors and app stores, to prioritize and improve distribution opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • An excellent communicator and documenter, with phenomenal listening, verbal, and written communication skills. You’re at home understanding and expressing strategies, priorities, trade-offs, and tasks at the 30K-foot and detailed levels.
  • Analytical, with experience driving user understanding in collaboration with Engineering and Data Science including: crafting instrumentation and monitoring, and conducting experiments in difficult to measure environments.
  • Technical, comfortable with delving into the product, the platform, and the implementation details.
  • Ambitious, having worked in a fast paced environment, with ambitious resources and priorities, through the product life cycle from planning, development, through to launch. You love to get things done.
  • Organized, understanding that the best way to build something phenomenal is through the joint efforts of many people.
