Requirements
  • J.D. degree
  • 10+ years of experience in traditional institutional banking including custody, settlements, clearing, and securities lending
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating brokerage or trading-related agreements
  • Knowledge of crypto industry and applicable laws/regulations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support for institutional settlements
  • Draft and negotiate various commercial, custody, and brokerage/trading contracts
  • Develop legal structure for institutional settlements
  • Manage contract templates and partner with Operations and Compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new products and resolve legal issues
