About the job
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience is required.
- At least 2 years and no more than 4 years of C# .NET development experience is required.
- Proficiency in C# .NET, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or newer is required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines is required.
- Ability to promptly answer support-related email, phone calls, and other electronic communications is required.
- Experience in a structured environment with increasing levels of responsibility and complexity is required.
- Experience with hardware and software issues is required.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences is required.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, presentation, detail-orientation, and organizational skills are required.
- Develop new database-driven websites using .NET Model-View-Controller.
- Support and maintain existing intranet, extranet, and internet sites and applications.
- Participate in the ongoing development of applications that meet customer needs.
- Deliver new functionality and change requests for existing applications.
- Perform complete unit and system testing of web applications, engaging users as necessary.
- Conduct alpha and beta testing and report the results.
- Design and implement user-driven templates, databases, and interfaces for ease of use.
- Develop database-driven web interfaces for rapid, real-time information sharing.
- Develop external web portals that allow users to input and retrieve accurate information.
- Exposure to Classic ASP is a plus.
- Recent database administration experience is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to teach and learn is desired.
