About the job
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and networking, including Hub-Spoke architecture, VNets, subnets, NSGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Private Endpoints, Private DNS, VPN/ExpressRoute, and Application Gateway.
- Expert-level Bicep and infrastructure-as-code experience, including writing reusable Bicep modules and provisioning Azure infrastructure such as VNets, AKS, ACR, Key Vault, Storage, Private Endpoints, Application Gateway, and monitoring resources.
- Strong AKS/Kubernetes experience, including cluster administration, deployments, and production troubleshooting.
- High proficiency in writing and troubleshooting Kubernetes YAML/manifest files, including Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, and Jobs.
- Ability to work with developers during production issues, analyze application and Kubernetes logs, identify root causes, and troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and networking problems.
- Strong network troubleshooting skills covering DNS, routing, NSGs, firewall rules, private endpoints, ports, ingress/load balancers, and end-to-end connectivity.
- Hands-on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) experience, including host pools, session hosts, FSLogix, sizing, provisioning, and user troubleshooting.
- Strong Azure Data Factory experience, including Linked Services, Integration Runtime/SHIR, private connectivity, and Azure SQL and Snowflake integrations.
- Experience with MuleSoft integrations, Key Vault, secrets/certificates, and secure connectivity.
- Strong CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions/Workflows, including infrastructure and Kubernetes deployments.
- Strong production support and incident management experience, including P1/P2 troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana, and KQL.
- Ability to write and run KQL queries to investigate application errors, infrastructure issues, AKS logs, performance problems, failures, and production incidents.
