Requirements
  • You have several years of experience as a backend engineer (game industry experience is a plus but not necessary)
  • You are a team player and value collaboration
  • You know your way around complex systems and know how to work with big codebases.
  • Elixir proficiency is essential, though professional experience is not mandatory. What we prioritize is your enthusiasm and eagerness to work with Elixir.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain and operate HTTP APIs and web apps, mainly built with Elixir
  • Manage, extend and improve our infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS)
  • Collaborate with tech teams across Wooga on using our services and building new feature
  • Ensure stability and resilience of our services
  • Take part in our team on-call rotation every few weeks (after an extensive onboarding period)
Desired Qualifications
  • Postgres, Redis, DynamoDB, Apache Kafka and ElasticSearch
  • Hands-on experience using Kubernetes, Helm or Terraform
  • AWS Services
  • Erlang, Ruby
