- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with ElasticSearch in production environments.
- Strong understanding of search algorithms, relevancy tuning, and query optimization.
- Proven experience in Java and Spring Boot microservices development.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Experience with data indexing, crawling, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setup.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable search solutions using ElasticSearch.
- Develop and integrate Java-based Spring Boot microservices to support search functionality.
- Optimize search performance, scalability, and relevance across diverse and complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective search strategies.
- Build and manage indexing pipelines, crawling mechanisms, and data transformation workflows.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and ensure reliability and low-latency search infrastructure.
- Stay updated on the latest search technologies, ElasticSearch features, and industry best practices.
- Experience with large-scale distributed search deployments.
- Experience with ElasticSearch security features (TLS, authentication, access control).
- Experience with log analytics and observability tooling (ELK/EFK, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and compliance considerations in search systems.
