Requirements
  • Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques, with the ability to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Knowledge of the business aspects and operation of a software product, including the ability to manage the install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
  • Knowledge of software engineering and the ability to deliver new or enhanced software products.
  • Knowledge of software change request management and the ability to manage software product change requests from customers, stakeholders, and internal staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher; selected candidates must complete their degree by their start date.
  • Zero to two years of relevant experience related to this field.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, with no rounding.
  • Experience translating business needs into detailed, well-structured requirements that enable high-quality feature development.
  • Ability to learn and understand how a product works, including workflows, dependencies, and user interactions within a system.
  • Ability to work within an established product structure while supporting backlog refinement, feature definition, and day-to-day follow-through.
Responsibilities
  • Partner with software engineers, One Funnel stakeholders, and dealers to define detailed feature requirements, including scope, functionality, non-functional requirements, and user acceptance testing criteria, under the guidance of the Control Center Senior Product Owner.
  • Participate in end-to-end feature development, including requirements design, user acceptance testing, and product reviews.
  • Create and maintain user-facing documentation, including one-pagers, frequently asked questions, and onboarding guides.
  • Work with deployment teams and stakeholders to gather and synthesize dealer feedback, identify improvements, and ensure the product meets real-world needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders by answering questions and helping teams understand how to use and integrate Control Center effectively.

Caterpillar breaks $20B revenue barrier with $8.17 earnings per share in Q2

Caterpillar reported second-quarter sales and revenues of $20.5 billion, up 24% and surpassing analyst expectations of $19.34 billion. This marks the first time the company has exceeded $20 billion in quarterly revenue. Adjusted earnings per share reached $8.17, beating the $6.22 consensus. Caterpillar appoints Kyle Epley as CFO after record $67.6B year

Caterpillar has appointed Kyle Epley as chief financial officer, effective 1 May 2026, replacing Andrew Bonfield, who will retire on 1 October after eight years with the company. Bonfield will serve in an advisory role during the transition period. Epley brings nearly three decades of Caterpillar experience to the role and currently serves as senior vice president of Global Finance Services. He has held several senior finance leadership positions, including division CFO and corporate controller. During Bonfield's tenure, Caterpillar achieved record financial performance, including the highest full-year sales and revenues in company history and a single-quarter record of $19.1 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025. The company reported 2025 sales and revenues of $67.6 billion.
