Requirements

  • The candidate must be able to lift, push, and pull equipment and materials as needed.
  • The candidate must have basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain, repair, and inspect building systems and equipment within the nursing home facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and building systems.
  • Monitor facility grounds and perform seasonal maintenance such as snow removal or salting when required.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance according to scheduled programs.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and work orders.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations.
  • Report safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, infection control standards, and nursing home policies.
Desired Qualifications
  • Technical or vocational training in maintenance or mechanical systems.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, nursing home, or industrial facilities.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
