Requirements
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with cloud security services such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Programming experience with Python.
  • Experience deploying secure infrastructure into cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of network, application, and system security.
  • Experience deploying resources using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
  • Experience securing Kubernetes services.
  • Extensive knowledge of the OWASP Web Top 10 and CWE Top 25.
  • Technical experience with programming, technology, infrastructure, and security.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct threat and risk analysis and participate in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Enhance the security posture of entities hosted in public cloud or on-premises environments.
  • Translate security and technical requirements into business requirements and communicate security risks to audiences ranging from business leaders to engineers.
  • Collaborate with information technology and other business units to integrate security into technology and operations.
  • Develop infrastructure and platforms to automate vulnerability management and security reporting.

  • AWS Security Specialty certification.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in cloud security.
  • Three or more years of work experience with cloud security services.
  • More than 2 years of work experience with an advanced degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD.
