Requirements
  • You must hold or expect to achieve the following qualification(s): Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree graded 2:1 or above in Engineering, Product Design, Industrialization, or a similar area.
  • Sufficient evidence of your right to work in the UK will be required. Your right to work in the UK or VISA must extend until September 2027 in order for you to qualify for this position.
  • Competent with MS Office, or interested in becoming an Expert Excel user (familiar with VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot tables).
  • A team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Logical thinker.
  • Strong numerical skills, with a passion for presenting findings in a transparent and concise manner.
  • Comfortable working within deadlines.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively.
  • Fluent English, verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Work with many business areas including Project Management, Design Engineers, Purchasing, and more.
  • Gather, process, and evaluate information to help estimate costs, movements in cost, and assist in target setting.
  • Support the wider GCD Team to improve costing processes and support departmental capability.
  • Provide ad hoc support to design and cost challenge teams.
  • Review current workflows and positively impact working processes.
