  • Proven experience in global payment operations, preferably in an ecommerce setting.
  • Strong understanding of payment gateways, processing networks, and ecommerce platforms.
  • Experience with recurring payments and subscription-based business models and systems.
  • Experience with Cybersource, PayPal, Stripe, and other leading payment gateways.
  • Understanding of the card brand requirements and region-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with credit card account updaters and other optimization solutions provided by gateways.
  • Knowledge of European Union 3DS and strong customer authentication, requirements, and exemptions.
  • Experience in optimizing cross-border transactions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global payment reporting strategy for the ecommerce channel.
  • Manage ecommerce payment and performance metrics, including payment transactions, authorizations, failures, gateway processing codes, fraud monitoring, geography-specific anomalies, payment baselines/goals, and ongoing performance improvements.
  • Utilize dashboards to identify and resolve payment gateway issues, failure points, and optimize payment authorization and declines.
  • Work closely with the ePayments team and other stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Review and ensure adherence to site security, privacy, compliance, accessibility, and regulatory requirements related to payments regularly.
  • Monitor fraud and chargeback levels for SketchUp and provide proactive notifications to wider teams.
  • Stay updated on global payment trends and technological advancements to maximize payment optimizations and ecommerce sales growth and retention.
