Dermatology Veterinary Nurse

About the job
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of veterinary nursing experience is preferred.
- Confidence with patient care and clinical nursing tasks is required.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is required.
- Assist with specialist dermatology consultations and discharges.
- Perform intradermal allergy testing.
- Assist with ear flushes, biopsies, laser procedures, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and brainstem auditory evoked response hearing testing.
- Provide compassionate client care and communication.
- Support the day-to-day operation of a busy specialist department.
- Coordinate ongoing cases and perform related administration alongside hands-on patient care.
- A positive attitude and a good sense of humour are desirable.
