- Develop and adjust the overall project schedule after the kickoff meeting based on procurement lead times, equipment availability, engineering and permitting requirements, geography of assigned projects, and requirements for engineered drawings.
- Manage the permitting process by determining permitting needs, managing internal and external resources to produce required documents, and completing the permitting process.
- Develop the overall construction schedule, including a task-level construction schedule, the desired order of operations and completion, equipment rentals, subcontractors, material purchasing, and coordination of mobilization dates, outage dates, and the construction schedule with the customer.
- Ensure that work outside the contract scope is not performed without approval from the Sales Account Manager.
- Notify the Account Manager of issues that could prevent the project from being completed at or under budget or achieving complete customer satisfaction.
- Develop processes that streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Lead project-specific customer communication and manage customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
- Lead and manage the overall project documentation process, including design-level documentation, review of the Sales and Engineering project packet, site visit notes, procurements, rentals, subcontracting, daily construction-level documentation, and review of documentation of daily construction activities from on-site crews.
- Conduct site visits throughout the project and construction to keep the customer informed, ensure the site is construction-ready, verify that construction is on schedule and follows the construction plan, ensure the site is clean and organized, uphold safety standards, and perform a post-construction inspection.
- An engineering degree.
