Construction Project Manager
About the job
- A proven record of successful project management.

- Work with Sales and Engineering to create a complete project packet for managing the job.
- Develop and adjust the overall project schedule after kickoff based on procurement lead times, equipment availability, engineering and permitting requirements, project geography, and requirements for engineered drawings.
- Determine permitting requirements, manage internal and external resources to produce required permitting documents, and complete the permitting process.
- Develop an overall construction schedule, including task-level scheduling and the desired order of operations and completion.
- Coordinate and document equipment rentals, subcontractors, material purchasing, mobilization dates, outage dates, and the construction schedule with the customer.
- Ensure that no work is performed outside the contract scope without approval from the Sales Account Manager.
- Notify the Account Manager of issues that could prevent the project from being completed within budget or achieving full customer satisfaction.
- Develop processes to streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Lead project-specific customer communication and manage customer expectations throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage project documentation, including design-level documentation, the Sales and Engineering project packet, site visit notes, procurements, rentals, subcontracting, and daily construction documentation; review provided project materials for accuracy and completeness and ensure daily construction activities are sufficiently documented by on-site crews.
- Conduct site visits throughout the project and construction to keep the customer informed, confirm the site is construction-ready, monitor schedule and adherence to the construction plan, ensure the site is clean and organized and safety standards are upheld, and perform a post-construction inspection.
- An engineering degree is a plus.
- Electrical experience is a plus.
