  • The ability to conduct proactive outbound prospecting and strategic account development targeting Boston-area corporations, Maine-headquartered companies, and regional group leisure accounts.
  • The ability to identify, qualify, and cultivate new corporate and group leads through cold outreach, LinkedIn prospecting, trade association engagement, and networking events.
  • The ability to develop and maintain an active prospective-client pipeline in Delphi, including activity logging, follow-up cadences, and stage progression tracking.
  • The ability to conduct site visits, presentations, and discovery calls to convert prospects to booked business.
  • The ability to establish and grow relationships with third-party meeting planners, destination management companies, and group travel buyers.
  • The ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through contract execution for corporate meeting, group ski, incentive travel, and team-building accounts.
  • The ability to prepare and present customized proposals, group packages, and contract documents that reflect client needs and resort capabilities.
  • The ability to collaborate with service teams to ensure seamless handoff and execution after business is contracted.
  • The ability to respond to inbound group and corporate inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • The ability to maintain accurate and current account records, including correspondence, proposals, and contract activity.
  • The ability to provide coverage support for the Sales team during leave periods and maintain existing account relationships.
  • The ability to ensure continuity for active group bookings, contracts in progress, and key account communication during coverage periods.
  • The ability to coordinate with the Senior Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales and Marketing to prioritize and manage workload across coverage and new-business responsibilities.
  • The ability to work cross-functionally with Food and Beverage, Lodging, Events, and Operations teams to design and package group experiences.
  • The ability to represent the resort at trade shows, corporate travel events, and prospecting trips to the Boston and greater Maine markets.
  • The ability to attend department and resort sales meetings and contribute to weekly sales reporting and pipeline reviews.
  • The ability to support resort-wide sales initiatives and revenue strategies as directed by sales leadership.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business demands require.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver polished external-facing presentations and client interactions.
  • The ability to work independently, manage time, and prioritize a dual-focus workload involving new business and account coverage.

Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience in hotel, resort, or destination sales with a demonstrated focus on new business development and outbound prospecting.
  • A proven track record of building a pipeline from the ground up and converting prospects to contracted group or corporate business.
  • Familiarity with the Boston corporate meetings market and/or Maine-based group travel.
  • Experience with Delphi or comparable customer relationship management or sales management software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prior ski resort or outdoor/adventure hospitality experience.
