- A High School Diploma is required.
- Six years of experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of ship-based command, control, communications, computers, intelligence systems, including associated cabling, computer, multiplexing, motor, switching, cryptographic, recording, cooling water, and dry air systems, is required.
- In-depth knowledge of United States Navy communications protocols, applications, and equipment and system setup and troubleshooting procedures is required.
- Extensive surface ship experience is required.
- A Secret Clearance is required.
- Monitor and track all phases of installation status on afloat units.
- Analyze cost, schedule, and performance data.
- Develop and monitor program schedules and Gantt charts.
- Perform critical path analyses.
- Support installation, integration, testing, and project-status briefings for United States Navy afloat command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence systems architecture.
- Work with Fleet Modernization process stakeholders and organizational relationships.
- Review Ship Installation Drawings.
- Review and develop technical correspondence, reports, documents, drawings, and analyses.
- Experience with installation of command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence equipment is desired.
- United States Navy Electronics Technician or Information Systems Technician experience with shipboard experience is highly desired.
