Requirements
  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Six years of experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of ship-based command, control, communications, computers, intelligence systems, including associated cabling, computer, multiplexing, motor, switching, cryptographic, recording, cooling water, and dry air systems, is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of United States Navy communications protocols, applications, and equipment and system setup and troubleshooting procedures is required.
  • Extensive surface ship experience is required.
  • A Secret Clearance is required.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track all phases of installation status on afloat units.
  • Analyze cost, schedule, and performance data.
  • Develop and monitor program schedules and Gantt charts.
  • Perform critical path analyses.
  • Support installation, integration, testing, and project-status briefings for United States Navy afloat command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence systems architecture.
  • Work with Fleet Modernization process stakeholders and organizational relationships.
  • Review Ship Installation Drawings.
  • Review and develop technical correspondence, reports, documents, drawings, and analyses.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with installation of command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence equipment is desired.
  • United States Navy Electronics Technician or Information Systems Technician experience with shipboard experience is highly desired.
