  • Ability to safely operate motorized equipment, lifts, and the casino truck.
  • Ability to work on elevated lifts and on the casino roof.
Responsibilities
  • Replace lights throughout the casino, including offices, restrooms, the entertainment center or bingo hall, and gaming floors.
  • Repair damaged walls and paint walls as needed.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mowers, weed trimmers, carts, and other equipment.
  • Construct partitions, cabinets, and shelves as assigned.
  • Perform groundskeeping duties.
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop and tool storage area.
  • Deliver and replace soda syrup and carbon dioxide at drink stations.
  • Deliver supplies when the shipping and receiving clerk is absent.
  • Assist with setting up and tearing down the entertainment center or bingo hall, including stages, tables, chairs, and audio equipment.
  • Remove trash from outside containers and deliver it to the compactor.
  • Deliver tables, chairs, soda machines, soda tanks, and other items to locations for casino or tribal events.
  • Replace gaming table felt as needed.
  • Clean, strip, and wax tiled floors in hallways, restrooms, and other areas.
  • Assist with unloading items from delivery trucks.
  • Operate the casino truck to pick up supplies or deliver items to other locations, including the smoker.
  • Perform preventive maintenance according to the supervisor's schedule and procedures.
  • Respond to emergency facilities and grounds maintenance situations.
  • Assist with maintenance inventory for supplies, tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Perform daily or as-needed ice and snow removal during winter.
  • Perform basic and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Sign for shipping and receiving items and items picked up from suppliers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • A GED or high school diploma is preferred but not required.
  • Certification from a basic or specialized maintenance training program is preferred but not required.
