Requirements
  • High school graduation or an equivalent General Educational Development (GED) credential.
  • At least 5 years of experience, ideally in a technical field or an aerospace or defense-related company.
  • Ability to use standard inspection tools and equipment, including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, and shadow graphs.
  • Knowledge of ISO/AS procedures is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Ability to read and understand military specifications and industry standards.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all levels of management.
  • Basic personal computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Responsibilities
  • Provide effective verification of products and certification packages against requirements and communicate findings associated with the verification.
  • Perform in-process and final inspection of components and assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate, neat, and complete inspection records.
  • Keep the work area organized and clean and follow established safety guidelines.
  • Work within a team structure to achieve company and department goals.
  • Perform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested.
