Requirements
  • A high school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in rotating equipment environments is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools is required.
  • Experience with BAAN or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment spare parts, including different types of seals and bearings, is required.
  • Knowledge of digitized business-to-business (B2B) methods is required.
  • Understanding of parts configurations, installation requirements, and aftermarket support practices is required.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with customers to develop, review, and validate complete and accurate spare parts lists based on equipment and pump requirements.
  • Schedule and conduct customer meetings to identify needs, resolve issues, and provide aftermarket support.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to parts pricing, availability, and lead times.
  • Develop, process, and maintain customer price lists with third-party vendors and internal stakeholders to meet profitability targets.
  • Review spare parts lists and pricing to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market and customer requirements.
  • Provide Marketing and Sales with installation and spare parts lists organized by customer or stakeholder to support growth and retention initiatives.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to manage inventory capacity constraints and order fulfillment challenges and drive root-cause improvement.
  • Resolve parts availability issues in a timely manner.
  • Support cost optimization while maintaining service levels and customer uptime.
  • Create, maintain, and digitize documentation supporting departmental objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and performance metrics.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and digital profiling of parts descriptions, pricing, and customer data across systems and reports.
  • Support and manage Quick Response (QR) tag deployment for real-time business evolution.
  • Review installations, parts lists, and historical data to anticipate customer needs, recover lost opportunities, and minimize operational and inventory costs.

Ruhrpumpen designs, manufactures, and services centrifugal and reciprocating pumps for oil and gas, chemical, and water treatment. Pumps are sized and selected using the Global Proposal System and are built to API, ANSI, and ISO standards, with an in-house foundry producing gray iron, ductile iron, low-carbon steel, and stainless steel to support vertical integration.
