Requirements
  • Ability to service HVAC products and equipment on assigned projects.
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as requested.
  • Ability to prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
  • Ability to inspect and maintain vehicles, including checking condition and cleanliness, keeping service records, scheduling work, and completing repairs and maintenance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment for wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Ability to complete job paperwork and maintain files, including daily time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and cost data.
  • Ability to determine parts needed for repairs and the required timing.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
  • Ability to provide technical support to customers.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, including some overnight travel.
Responsibilities
  • Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and products at customer locations.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications.
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
  • Inspect vehicles and maintain vehicle service, scheduling, repair, and maintenance records.
  • Inspect equipment for signs of wear and notify the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Complete paperwork and maintain files for each job, including time, progress, duration, parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and cost data.
  • Turn in required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Stay current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
  • Represent the company as a direct customer contact and provide technical support to customers.
