What believers are saying

  • Why Not Now? launched May 23-24, 2026, proving festival-scale demand in Brooklyn.
  • EMW's 2026 calendar added Sammy Virji, Odd Mob, and Experts Only pre-parties.
  • East Meets West 2026 still anchors the brand with Pegasus Tech Ventures and Startup World Cup.

What critics are saying

  • Experts Only Festival 2026 depends on one September weekend; a weak turnout hits revenue.
  • The Bowery Presents and Relentless Beats control stronger distribution, talent access, and marketing.
  • A failed festival season would strand EMW in expensive deposits, permits, and artist guarantees.

What makes EMW unique

  • EMW Presents books bespoke New York venues, from Brooklyn Army Terminal to SummerStage.
  • EMW co-produces with The Bowery Presents, Relentless Beats, and Medium Rare in 2026.
  • EMW expanded from club shows into festivals, including Why Not Now? and Experts Only.
