Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and revisions of marketing materials for Federal Agency Department executive and congressional briefings, including gathering grant program accomplishments and drafting revisions
  • Provide subject matter expertise in grant management and administration principles
  • Assist with developing tracking tools to ensure goals and performance measures are met, such as annual workload analysis
  • Draft standard operating procedures for review and approval by Government staff for grant processes
  • Facilitate 6-8 meetings per year between staff and external customers in the DC area, with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Provide Grants.gov posting and user support, including managing user accounts, posting solicitations, troubleshooting, monitoring submissions, and training staff
  • Assist with systems requirements, documenting and tracking requirements, overseeing performance and user acceptance testing, tracking issues, ensuring systems meet requirements
  • Assist with systems mapping and end-user support for grant management systems
  • Assist in developing and revising grant systems procedures and internal projects for process improvement
  • Draft system updates and communications for government staff approval
  • Assist in processing all incoming and ongoing communications for the Grant Operations Business Office, track issues, and provide status reports
  • Respond to data calls and develop ad-hoc reports, collect financial and grants management data from multiple sources
  • Review internal processes and procedures and recommend areas for continuous improvement
  • Provide strategic planning advice and consultative updates across task areas
  • Provide informal systems, grants management, and business updates and technical assistance to staff and external customers
  • Develop and facilitate grant management training, evaluate training programs, design evaluation instruments, analyze data, and report findings
  • Provide instructional design support for regional grantee meetings and internal training workshops, onboarding programs, and training development
  • Draft standard operating procedures for grant processes and update as needed
  • Process grant closeouts and archive project folders
  • Assist with review of program guidance and grant documentation pending approval
  • Develop briefings and weekly status reports for leadership
  • Assist in compiling, editing, and distributing quarterly team newsletter
  • Coordinate and support working groups for deliverables
  • Draft standard operating procedures for grant processes and update as needed
