Homologation Analyst - Multiple Teams
About the job
- Availability to travel more than 50% of the time, including internationally.
- Familiarity with vehicle systems, including passive safety, active safety, and powertrain.
- Knowledge of standards related to the automotive sector.
- Education in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Fluent English.
- Understand client needs to develop and maintain the homologation business and promote homologation sales by supporting the company's sales team.
- Perform technical validation in accordance with regulatory acts of the United Nations, the European Union, and other countries.
- Contact Brazilian authorities (CETESB, IBAMA, and DENATRAN) and international authorities, and consult headquarters specialists to clarify questions.
- Manage homologation projects by coordinating and executing activities, including witnessing tests, preparing budgets, monitoring projects, defining goals, and proposing ways to achieve objectives.
- Act as a homologation consultant and inspector, providing clients with guidance to minimize required tests while covering all vehicle specifications.
- Witness tests, guide technicians on procedures, and ensure all required information is provided.
- Prepare and conduct homologation tests and manage interactions with clients, ministries, and other government agencies, applying a comprehensive understanding of technical legislation.
- Prepare technical documentation for clients when necessary, contact and contract with laboratories, organize logistics, and define worst-case scenarios for tests.
