  • Must have a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Science, or Process Engineering
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation
  • Experience must include: Mechanical Engineering, Injection Polymer science, Process Engineering, R&D Prototype Design Engineering, Quality Engineering, Injection Mold Engineering & Design, New Product Development, Lean/Kaizen Methodology, Mold Shop management, Engineering CAD software & 3D modeling, DOE (design of experiment) & statistical analysis
Responsibilities
  • Research and develop products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers
  • Performs scientific and technological investigation directed toward the acquisition of new knowledge
  • Research enlarging and systematizing the organizations knowledge base by understanding the limitations of technology and how to apply its capabilities
  • Develop proof-of-concept prototypes to ensure manufacturability
  • Devise methods and tools for modeling, analyzing and developing products and services to align with manufacturing quality and methods
  • Apply engineering knowledge and research towards the development and design of new products and processes
  • Identify and leverage potential to improve efficiencies for solutions and products; and performs work in support of brand plans
