Responsibilities
Provide daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients, including dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, turtles, tortoises, hedgehogs, and other small animals.
Walk dogs and provide supervised outdoor exercise as appropriate.
Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and enclosures.
Scoop litter boxes and maintain feline housing areas.
Clean and care for the reptile room.
Perform laundry and general housekeeping duties.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all patients.
Desired Qualifications
Previous veterinary or kennel experience is helpful but not required.

This is an active position that requires someone who is comfortable being on their feet throughout the day, lifting, bending and performing routine cleaning tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
Holiday availability is required. Employees who work holidays are compensated at double-time, and eligible full-time employees also receive paid holidays after the introductory period.
Previous veterinary or kennel experience is helpful but not required. We are happy to train the right person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Because this position involves the care of our patients, access to clinic keys and alarm codes, and working independently at times, a pre-employment background check and drug screening are required.
