Responsibilities

Own quality assurance and quality control, including quality assurance of products, services, and manufacturing processes; manufacturing conformance, incoming goods control, product inspection, and witness points.
Develop specialized knowledge in the discipline and serve as a best-practice and quality resource.
Maintain awareness of technical developments in the area, contribute to strategy and policy development, and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
Apply in-depth knowledge of best practices and how the area integrates with others, and working knowledge of competition and market differentiators.
Use judgment to solve moderately complex operational or product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering tasks and problems; bring new perspectives to existing solutions.
Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations, drawing on multiple internal and limited external sources outside the function.
Act as a resource for less-experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
Explain difficult or sensitive information and build consensus; develop persuasion skills to influence others on topics within the field.
