About the Job

Requirements

  • Licenciatura in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • At least one year of experience in one or more of the following areas: Construction, Projects, Budgets, or Administration.
  • Experience with purchasing processes.
  • Knowledge of construction materials and processes.
  • Experience dealing with suppliers or contractor companies.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project planning by specifying project scopes and establishing minimum requirements according to project needs or nature.
  • Prepare invitation letters with project specifications and scopes.
  • Send invitations to participate in major and minor project bids.
  • Coordinate visits, walkthroughs, and information delivery among suppliers, contractors, and the property.
  • Coordinate the blocking of areas affected during project execution.
  • Inform and coordinate with different departments on all aspects affecting their operations.
  • Prepare quote comparisons and, where appropriate, conduct an initial review of proposals.
  • Maintain updated digital and printed files for every project stage.
  • Process project requisitions, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Maintain an accurate, timely, and organized record of project progress and payments.
  • Process and follow up on contracts with companies assigned to execute projects.
  • Maintain document control and execution evidence through project completion.

Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret plans.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Written English proficiency.
  • Experience in construction project control.
  • Knowledge of construction and installation regulations.
