About the job

Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience in growth, product, or marketing, including at least 2 years leading self-serve or product-led growth for a developer-facing product.
  • Demonstrated measurable results in activation and free-to-paid conversion, with figures the candidate can explain.
  • Experience building a product-led growth-to-sales motion involving product-qualified leads, inside sales, and expansion.
  • Experience hiring and managing a small team and agencies against a budget.
  • Experience owning a self-serve number at a developer, API, or AI infrastructure company, and the ability to describe the number at the start and end of that experience.
  • Ability to read API documentation, write SQL, and ship experiments using AI tools.
  • Experience testing how coding agents discover, choose, and integrate tools.
Responsibilities
  • Own self-serve signups, activation, free-to-paid conversion, and AI logo acquisition, reviewing performance weekly and deciding which growth levers and channels to pursue.
  • Improve time to value by helping developers or their agents reach a first live entitlement check quickly, including by changing onboarding, quickstarts, templates, documentation, the pricing page, and the in-product upgrade path.
  • Make Stigg discoverable and usable by agents through AI search, the MCP Registry and agent marketplaces, agent-readable documentation and llms.txt, CLI and API-first signup, and agent-native payments; measure and grow agent-driven growth.
  • Define product-qualified leads, run an inside sales motion to expand self-serve customers into larger contracts, and hand enterprise-scale accounts to the sales team.
  • Hire and lead a growth engineer and an inside sales representative, direct agencies covering SEO/AEO, paid channels, and content, partner with product, engineering, and marketing, and manage the dedicated budget.
  • Run growth experiments, stop underperforming ones, and focus on growth that supports a product developers value.
  • Work directly with the founders and make decisions without an intervening committee.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience growing a usage-based, credits, or payments infrastructure product.
  • Experience shipping an MCP server, a CLI signup flow, or agent-facing documentation, or experimenting with x402, MPP, or ACP.
  • A public voice in the developer or AI community.

What believers are saying

  • Stigg 2.0 handles over one million events per second and under-five-millisecond enforcement.
  • Public beta for contract management and invoicing follows strong customer waitlist demand in 2026.
  • Miro, PagerDuty, and Stripe App Marketplace validate enterprise adoption and distribution.

What critics are saying

  • Stripe, NetSuite, and Checkout.com can bundle Stigg's features by 2027.
  • Received.ai integration spans 2026; shipping bugs can break billing accuracy and customer trust.
  • If AI platforms standardize usage billing internally, Stigg becomes a thin middleware layer.

What makes Stigg unique

  • Stigg enforces entitlements in real time with sub-10ms request-path decisions.
  • Received.ai adds contract-to-invoice automation, turning signed deals into live entitlements and invoices.
  • Stigg runs alongside Stripe, NetSuite, Airwallex, and Checkout.com without replacing them.
