Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration.
  • Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, including process and functional requirements definition methods, use case development, and process flow diagrams.
  • Working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of SQL.
  • Ability to position and sell reasonable, actionable, and cost-effective solutions and properly gauge requirements to select the appropriate solution.
  • Ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not align with original expectations.
  • Knowledge in Finance, Human Resources, or Supply Chain is highly favored.
  • Availability during core work hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work as required.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of an office environment, including frequent sitting, walking, and standing; occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, balancing, and lifting office products and supplies up to 20 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Enhance the quality of IT products and services through requirements gathering, ongoing implementations, and definition of end-to-end business solutions.
  • Engage business leaders to understand business needs, manage and influence stakeholders, and provide consultation and relationship management at technical and business leadership levels.
  • Provide guidance on solution designs and act as an escalation point for solution design decisions in collaboration with developers, architects, and technical leads.
  • Establish and enforce end-to-end solution and documentation standards and solution integrity through process and system integration with other teams, systems, and process areas.
  • Ensure system solutions support long-term department goals while delivering short-term incremental benefits.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and software vendors and understand business priorities and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead technology projects and participate in multiple projects concurrently.
  • Participate in pre-project analysis and vendor selection to support informed technology investment decisions.
  • Set and manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders.
  • Mitigate impediments affecting successful completion of project goals and sprint priorities.
  • Participate in deployment planning and set delivery expectations for new functionality.
  • Communicate project expectations and provide weekly project status for assigned IT tasks.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and defects, conduct root cause analysis, and work with developers to correct root causes.
  • Assist user communities with understanding company systems.
  • Monitor work progress and address issues during sprints.
  • Coordinate and perform testing of system modifications and develop systems.
  • Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct unit, process, and system tests.
  • Provide periodic after-hours support.
Desired Qualifications
  • Three to five years of experience working with the Microsoft Dynamics Navision application.
  • Knowledge in Finance, Human Resources, or Supply Chain.
