Requirements
  • Proficient in AWS configuration and infrastructure management, with hands-on experience in CloudFormation, Chef, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring smooth deployment and operational workflow.
  • Familiar with risk assessment and safeguarding web applications and cloud infrastructure, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with Unix environments, Docker containers, configuration management tools like Chef, content delivery networks, and basic principles of web session and cookie management all from the perspective of optimizing web server performance.
  • Experience with AWS RDS Aurora MySQL, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, and data visualization tools. A strong understanding of database management and storage solutions to support scalable web applications.
  • Expertise supporting a high-traffic system, including incident management, monitoring/alerting systems, and tweaking performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Familiarity writing code in Ruby on Rails or similar MVC frameworks, with an understanding of backend architecture, focusing on building robust, scalable platforms.
  • Experience with tools like Selenium and SauceLabs, emphasizing the importance of quality assurance and efficient testing strategies.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Write code and configure the systems that support the building, monitoring, scaling, testing, securing, and deployment of our product.
  • Own projects and build features end to end, and work on exciting technical challenges.
  • Work with your team, other engineers, product managers, and staff across the organization to build and support accessible and efficient systems.
  • Ship software regularly while maintaining excellent live site availability.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, growth-focused, and collaborative team culture!
