  • Valid passport.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and shifts.
  • Commitment to company health and safety.
  • Availability to work weekends, statutory holidays, and shift work.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a coach safely using defensive driving techniques, maintain the schedule, and make designated stops on the assigned route.
  • Greet passengers courteously and provide information concerning routes, schedules, and transfer points.
  • Assist passengers with securement systems, ramps, lifts, and other appropriate means, including announcing arrivals at major thoroughfares, facilities, and departure locations using a microphone while operating the bus.
  • Collect appropriate tickets using an electronic fare collection system.
  • Inspect and prepare the assigned coach for operation by performing a pre-trip inspection.
  • Complete accurate Ministry of Transportation of Ontario Hour of Service Logs and comply with Ministry of Transportation of Ontario Hours of Service regulations.
  • Perform chartered service throughout Canada and the United States when required.
  • Observe uniform regulations and other Ontario Northland rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Work garage shifts performing operator/labourer assignments, including cleaning buses.
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, and regular attendance to support efficient transportation service to the general public.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and previous experience of the motor coach service industry is a definite asset.
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) is an asset.
