  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks applicable to artificial intelligence systems, including OWASP Machine Learning Security Top 10 or MITRE ATLAS.
  • Understanding of intellectual property risk in artificial intelligence contexts, including training data rights, model ownership, and vendor intellectual property exposure.
  • Experience supporting quality management systems with artificial-intelligence-specific documentation requirements or traceability standards.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and building structured governance approaches in environments where artificial intelligence standards are still emerging.
  • Strong integrity and independence, including willingness to raise concerns, issue escalations, and uphold governance standards under delivery pressure.

About the company

GE Vernova wins five Venture Global grid reservations; $3,400 model target implies 267% upside

GE Vernova has reserved five grid equipment packages for Venture Global, under an agreement signed October 9. GE Grid Solutions will supply transformers and gas-insulated switchgear for up to 21 power island projects, with purchase orders starting in late 2026. Venture Global also reserved eight power islands with GE Vernova, and expects to order its first by the end of 2026. Beyond reservation fees, neither deal binds the buyer; the roughly $17.2 billion total assumes every order proceeds. GE Vernova shares closed at $926.44 on October 15, 21.14% below their June record but up about 42% in 2026. The company's Electrification backlog has grown to $45 billion from $6 billion at the end of 2021. Third-quarter results are due October 28.

GE Vernova shares fall 5.5% despite Venture Global deal for up to 16 gas units, 10GW of AI power

Venture Global has signed power and grid frame agreements with GE Vernova and Baker Hughes for up to 16 new 720 MW combined-cycle gas power island units, plus related transformer equipment. The units would supply an off-grid industrial power network that could support as much as 10 GW of future compute capacity. GE Vernova's shares fell 5.5% after the news. The deal shows how its gas turbines and grid equipment are becoming central to behind-the-meter power for LNG operations and AI data centres. The company recently raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $45.5 billion to $46.5 billion, and its free cash flow outlook to $11.5 billion to $12.5 billion. Risks remain in its loss-making Wind business, tariffs, and large, lumpy projects.

Cramer tips GE Vernova and Vertiv as data center plays missing from jobs report

Jim Cramer highlighted GE Vernova and Vertiv on 2 October, noting their exposure to data centre growth. He questioned why the jobs report didn't reflect the data centre buildout, suggesting commercial construction is weak whilst data centre projects remain strong. Vertiv's Q2 net sales grew 24% annually, with operating profit up 44%. However, revenue growth of 17.8% missed analyst estimates of 23.6% due to supply chain issues, raising concerns about backlog conversion. The company's capital expenditure surged 285% to $173 million. GE Vernova's shares have risen over 240% since October 2024. Q2 customer downpayments generated a $6.4 billion working capital benefit, pushing free cash flow up 2,532% to $5.1 billion. The company raised its full-year cash flow guidance to $11.5–$12.5 billion from $6.5–$7.5 billion.
