Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have a California identification card, Social Security card, and birth certificate.
Must be able to maintain excellent safety and sanitation procedures.
Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Must be able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
Must obtain a Class B Gaming License, available for a nominal fee with a clean background check.
Must meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and lifting 10 to 15 pounds.
Must be able to meet the specified vision requirements, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Responsibilities
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine.
Hold inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean their inside surfaces.
Wash pots, pans, and trays.
Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, cutting boards, and kitchen equipment.
Segregate and remove trash and garbage and place it in designated containers.
Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
Sort bottles and break disposable ones in a bottle-crushing machine, if applicable.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Assist with setting up and cleaning banquet tables when necessary.
Maintain kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and food and cooking utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
Desired Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
