About the job
- A completed degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable program.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in Accounting, Audit, or Tax; experience at a Big Four audit firm is advantageous.
- Substantial experience with IFRS consolidation in an international corporate environment.
- Several years of leadership experience in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting and international tax and transfer-pricing matters.
- Experience with ERP and consolidation systems such as NetSuite or comparable solutions.
- Very good Excel skills.
- Fluent German and English.
- Lead and develop accounting teams across four group companies.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and IFRS group consolidation.
- Ensure correct application of IFRS standards and local accounting regulations.
- Coordinate the annual audit with external auditors.
- Analyze financial metrics and continuously improve reporting and consolidation processes.
- Own the group-wide transfer-pricing strategy, including documentation.
- Ensure compliance with tax requirements in multiple European countries.
- Coordinate work with external tax advisers and authorities.
- Support M&A transactions, restructurings, and intercompany transactions from a tax perspective.
- Oversee all tax obligations at group level.
- Identify automation opportunities and drive digitization of finance processes.
- Continuously develop ERP, consolidation, and reporting systems.
- Standardize accounting processes across companies and establish group-wide best practices.
- Develop finance policies and internal standards, and support finance transformation with IT and other stakeholders.
- Lead, develop, and coach an international accounting team.
- Work closely with the CFO, Legal, local finance teams, and Internal Audit.
- Act as the central contact for auditors, tax advisers, and authorities.
- Help prepare the international finance organization for future growth.
- Experience at a Big Four audit firm.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
