Requirements
  • 4+ years experience in B2B software/SaaS product management or highly related Martech or Data Science roles
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent of education and experience
  • Understanding of common digital marketing tech/platforms and publishers, and/or a strong interest in digital marketing tech; previous experience with major digital marketing publishers (Google, Meta, Pinterest, DSPs, etc.) a plus
  • Previous experience with digital marketing decisioning (e.g. spend management, content optimization, segmentation, etc.) and/or ML decisioning systems
  • Able to structure problems, develop clear problem statements and hypothesis, and prioritize work using business understanding and data
  • Familiarity with analytical tools (e.g. SQL, Excel) and comfort with large complex data sets
  • Experience working closely with engineering and/or DS teams, prioritizing backlogs and providing domain context to make the team more effective
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; consistently keep teams updated on platform strategy and progress
  • Effective written communication with a talent for simplifying complexity to drive alignment via product requirement docs, briefs, user stories, etc.
Responsibilities
  • Own product strategy and roadmap for Wayfair’s Martech Bidding & Decisioning systems
  • Partner with marketing, engineering, and data science to develop decisioning solutions that improve marketing ROI and enhance customer experiences to drive growth
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and digital marketing space (general tech, vendor capabilities, etc.); utilize this to identify opportunities and translate into clear requirements for data science and engineering
  • Keep up-to-date on the latest AI & ML trends; work closely with Data Science to test, integrate, and scale the use of cutting edge ML approaches
  • Work with engineering and data science to ensure we are building scalable and extensible tech solutions supporting best in breed ML capabilities
  • Partner closely with fellow PMs to integrate decisioning with the broader Martech stack; work with PMs across the business (e.g. Storefront) to expand the use of decisioning where applicable and maximize impact
  • Establish strong relationships with vendor and publisher partners (e.g. Search Engines, Social Networks, etc.); stay ahead of their feature releases and roadmaps, incorporating this into Wayfair’s B&D product strategy
  • Regularly perform market discovery; surface and apply new tech and/or ML approaches to Wayfair’s decisioning strategy
  • Communicate regularly with leadership across both tech and marketing; translate technical and domain specific language into comms for a road audience
