Must have car insurance.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be at least 18 years old.
No prior experience is required; candidates need a desire to help others and willingness to work.
Responsibilities
Provide care to clients in their own homes to support or develop independence, including elderly clients and clients of any age with intellectual or physical disabilities.
Perform housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry as needed based on client needs.
Prepare meals and cook as needed based on client needs.
Shop for groceries for or with the client.
Provide transportation and run errands.
Assist with personal care and bathing.
Provide companionship.
Visit places in the community and socialize with clients.
Engage clients in activities such as games and memory books.
Coach, discuss, role-play, and teach to assist clients with goals such as social and behavioral functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, and safe boundaries.
Record daily care notes.
Report significant client changes to the agency office.

In Home Caregiver / Direct Support Professional (DSP) Essential Job Functions (differ based on client needs):
Housekeeping/Cleaning & laundry
Meal preparation & cooking
Grocery shopping for or with the client
Transportation & errands
Personal cares and bathing
Companionship
Visit places in the community/socialize
Engage in activities (games, memory books)
Assist with goals such as, but not limited to social and behavior functioning, coping skills, self-advocacy, confidence building, relationship building, safe boundaries, etc. by Coaching, discussing, roleplaying, teaching etc.
We hire CNAs, homemakers, housekeepers, personal attendants, aides, CDAC providers, and Caregivers! No experience required - just a desire to help others, willingness to work and a friendly smile are needed!
