  • At least 5 years of Concrete Foreman experience.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification is required.
  • Experience leading crews of at least 6 people while directing concrete forming and pouring operations.
  • Ability to ensure forms are straightened, plumbed, squared, and aligned with grid lines while maintaining correct elevation lines.
  • Ability to ensure concrete is poured at the correct rate, consolidated, and vibrated properly.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to job coach.
  • A safety-focused attitude.
  • Ability to travel to surrounding job sites.
  • Ability to work in high and low temperatures, near traffic, in loud and noisy areas, confined spaces, at heights, and in indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter previous-day timesheets into Procore by 9:00 a.m., including proper cost codes for work performed.
  • Enter and validate complete previous-day daily logs in Procore by 9:00 a.m., including weather, notes, photos, equipment, productivity, deliveries, documents, and work descriptions.
  • Communicate daily production goals and assign duties to qualified tradespersons to achieve target production rates.
  • Complete job-site safety inspections and toolbox talks, identify potential hazards, and complete incident reports promptly.
  • Ensure time-and-materials and change-order work does not begin until the project manager has validated written customer commitment, and track that work accurately in Procore.
  • Validate take-off quantities and ensure materials, equipment, and subcontractors are on site according to the project schedule.
  • Review and validate grades, shoot grades, and ensure elevations match the latest drawing revision.
  • Complete a three-week look-ahead and review it with the General Superintendent and project manager to align with the project schedule.
  • Communicate daily with the project manager about job progress and risks involving schedule, quantities, or manpower.
  • Track equipment, forms, shoring, and other job assets and remove them when work is complete.
  • Validate pour cards.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections in Tenna.
  • Organize Miss Dig/One Call services.
  • Ensure the quality of daily work completed on site.
  • Execute all punch-list items to completion.
  • Organize and direct personnel to execute project requirements.
  • Interpret plans, shop drawings, and specifications to perform work correctly.
  • Order materials according to plans and specifications as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Schedule equipment and tools as assigned and coordinated.
  • Organize and manage demobilization activities for manpower, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure craftsmen maintain a clean and safe job site.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Identify potential design, construction, or scheduling problems and advise the superintendent.
  • Clarify discrepancies and questions concerning plans and drawings.
  • Oversee construction projects from beginning to end and coordinate workers without supervision.
  • Identify and correct unsafe acts.
  • Communicate and uphold the company's Integrity and Code of Ethics commitment and ensure the team does the same.
