Requirements
  • One year of experience in a food and beverage position is required.
  • Candidates must pass appropriate security clearances under company policy.
  • Candidates must be honest and trustworthy because associates have access to guestrooms and hotel property.
  • Candidates must be able to stand, lift, bend, learn, read, concentrate, think, and communicate.
  • Candidates must be able to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted and lift or carry 30 pounds unassisted.
  • Candidates must be able to stand for eight hours and bend, stretch, and reach.
  • Candidates must be able to see and hear.
  • Candidates must know brand operating standards, local shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions, daily hotel operations, property details, staff and services, operating hours, room types, locations, rates, and discounts.
  • Candidates must be computer literate and able to operate the property management system to post charges, compute bills, collect payments, and make change.
  • Candidates must be able to organize stations, communicate server responsibilities, process room service orders, and maintain a clean, orderly, guest-ready restaurant.
  • Candidates must be able to multitask, communicate effectively with guests and associates, resolve guest issues professionally, market and promote offerings to increase exposure and sales.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work on-site at the hotel, including any day or shift and weekends when required.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests and provide prompt, courteous service.
  • Provide point-of-sale service.
  • Prepare and consistently maintain the dining area and supplies in a guest-ready condition.
  • Close out shifts by cleaning and restocking supplies for the next day or shift.
  • Maintain safety and security practices and understand emergency procedures.
  • Ensure guests receive a high-quality product and service.
  • Complete required brand-standard documentation.
  • Perform other assigned duties that the associate is capable of performing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior cashier experience with a chain food or retail outlet is preferred.
