- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 7+ years of front-end development experience and 3+ years at team-lead level.
- Experience with project management and technical leadership.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating standards-compliant front-end code for product or marketing websites, web applications, or mobile experiences.
- Proficiency testing front-end code across supported browsers and devices.
- Demonstrated experience incorporating reliable unit and end-to-end testing into user-interface frameworks.
- Proficiency in JavaScript.
- Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3.
- Proficiency with AngularJS or EmberJS.
- Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment.
- Familiarity with Java, C#, Python, and Ruby.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of applications and services supporting the workforce and consumers.
- Develop user-facing applications for company websites, functional web applications, and mobile web applications.
- Collaborate with engineering and User Experience disciplines, including Full-Stack Engineers, Quality Assurance, Interaction Designers, Creative Designers, and Program Managers, in an Agile Software Development environment.
- Establish and document development standards and reusable common components across web applications.
- Write standards-compliant HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code from scratch using Model-View-Controller concepts.
- Support a range of browsers and devices.
- A Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Production experience with Node.js.
- Production experience with ES6.
- Production experience with React.js.
- Production experience with a functional programming pattern or language.
- User Experience skills in Interaction Design and Visual Design.

Keys co-hosts countywide cybersecurity challenge. Date posted June 12, 2026 Keys Energy Services (KEYS), Nextgen Technologies, and Cyber Florida at the University of South Florida recently co-hosted the 2026 Keys Cyber Games. The event brought together Monroe County government agencies to defend against simulated cybersecurity attacks on Friday, June 12. Participants sharpened their threat detection and response capabilities through hands-on experience in threat hunting, incident response, and network anomaly detection while simultaneously fostering critical inter-agency collaboration. "This exercise gave participants a chance to experience real-world challenges in a controlled setting," said Lynne Tejeda, General Manager & CEO of KEYS. "It's an important step toward making our county more resilient to cyber threats."
