Requirements
  • A degree-seeking graduate student enrolled in sufficient credits at the University of Texas, Austin.(*9 credit hours in fall/spring semesters, 3 credit hours in summer semester*)
  • Prior office or administrative experience required.
  • Interested in the field of mental health.
  • Ability to maintain a regular and consistent schedule.
  • Demonstration of professional demeanor.
  • Strong technology skills, including the ability to perform computer tasks and use the electronic health record systems independently. Proficiency in electronic systems including, but not limited to, Google Suite, Trayt, Slack, Athena, Calendly
  • Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Responsibilities
  • Assists with collection and entry of quantitative and qualitative data for purposes of program tracking, implementation, and development. Maintains electronic files and electronic database records to ensure accuracy of information. Google form and sheet coding.
  • Creates flyers, newsletters, slide decks, and other communications materials for internal and external purposes. Assists with delivery of presentations, webinars, and other training resources for clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Works collaboratively with other Graduate Assistants on projects and tasks needed to support care coordination and operational workflows. Tracks project deliverables to ensure quality work and timeliness of completion. Attends appropriate training workshops, meetings, and other webinars as required.
  • Maintains, vets, and updates the internal database for community mental health resources. Communicates with care coordination staff for external referral approval. Works with community resources to provide education about the TCHATT program.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish). Readiness to adopt new techniques and practices as determined by the clinical support team.
