Requirements
  • Be a degree-seeking graduate student enrolled in sufficient credits at the University of Texas at Austin: 9 credit hours in fall or spring semesters or 3 credit hours in summer semesters.
  • Have prior office or administrative experience.
  • Be interested in the field of mental health.
  • Be able to maintain a regular and consistent schedule.
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor.
  • Have strong technology skills, including the ability to perform computer tasks and use electronic health record systems independently.
  • Be proficient in electronic systems including Google Suite, Trayt, Slack, Athena, and Calendly.
  • Complete a criminal history background check if selected as a finalist.
  • Present acceptable original documents proving identity and authorization to work in the United States by the third day of employment.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with collecting and entering quantitative and qualitative data for program tracking, implementation, and development.
  • Maintain electronic files and electronic database records to ensure information accuracy, including Google Forms and Google Sheets coding.
  • Create flyers, newsletters, slide decks, and other communications materials for internal and external purposes.
  • Assist with delivering presentations, webinars, and other training resources for clinical and non-clinical audiences.
  • Work collaboratively with other Graduate Assistants on projects and tasks supporting care coordination and operational workflows.
  • Track project deliverables to ensure quality work and timely completion.
  • Attend required training workshops, meetings, and webinars.
  • Maintain, vet, and update the internal database for community mental health resources.
  • Communicate with care coordination staff for external referral approval.
  • Work with community resources to provide education about the TCHATT program.
  • Provide scheduling, operations, care coordination, referral, data tracking and management, independent project, procedural operations, and presentation-material support.
  • Work occasional weekends, overtime, and evenings to meet deadlines.
  • Travel occasionally interstate, intrastate, and internationally, and perform field work as necessary.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Readiness to adopt new techniques and practices as determined by the clinical support team.
